With their COSA micro-grant, Golan Levin has begun work on an open source Processing library designed to make pattern files for computerized embroidery machines. Software for these machines is typically proprietary and quite pricey. Therefore Levin decided to integrate this library with Processing, making the software not only free an open source, but accessible for the casual user. Levin has begun beta testing PEmbroider.
