Addie Wagenknecht, with the assistance of a COSA micro-grant, has continued work on their project Router Wars. The process involved in Router Wars is likened to “Wi-Fi” tagging, where users can communicate in short messages via wireless routers. Wagenknecht has described it as a sort of “digital graffiti.” They have identified Router Wars as a means of playful, yet covert, digital communication in a COVID era world where digital communication is vital, and play is sorely missed.
